November 28, 2005 Halloween H25 Special Edition DVD .... Good news ... The Halloween: 25 Years of Terror documentary / special edition DVD (in which Ellie will be featured) has been officially scheduled for release on July 25, 2006. November 16, 2005 -- REVISED A note about fan mail ... On a lighter note this week, I have received some recent inquiries as to where to send personal requests and/or letters for Ellie. Any/all correspondence should be sent c/o one (or both) of the following:
Ellie Cornell c/o OR
Ellie Gottwald c/o The Ellie Effect does NOT handle mail on Ellie's behalf, so you may send your correspondence to one of the above - it's likely she'll appreciate hearing from her fans. :) A friendly word of advice: a response is never guaranteed. The Ellie Effect does NOT have any influence in how Ellie handles the mail she receives. However, you may certainly include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) as a courtesy when sending your request and/or letter.

November 11, 2005 A note of condolence ... We are saddened to learn that Moustapha Akkad, producer (and father) of the Halloween movie franchise, died in Amman, Jordan from wounds sustained in the recent triple hotel terrorists bombings. His daughter, Rima, was also killed. Read it here. The Ellie Effect would like to extend deepest condolences to all members of the Akkad family. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you, and may Moustapha and Rima be together in peace.

November 9, 2005 -- REVISED The Thirst, and the trailer for Dead Calling... In scanning IMDb today, the ever-busy Ellie has completed work on yet another project, The Thirst. It is listed as being scheduled for a video release next March (2006). Be sure to check it out: PC / Mac. (A reminder that Ellie is not featured in the trailer, but it is nonetheless a great first look at the film). November 2, 2005 A bit more The Second Line news .... Icons of Fright was on set during the recent filming of the trailer for The Second Line (working title: Dead Calling). Whilst no pics of Ellie as yet, Icons of Fright has posted a couple of behind-the-scenes shots with co-star PJ Soles. Additionally, they will be doing a complete write-up on the film as part of their November edition of exclusives. Stay tuned! :)
